About Mel Botterbusch-Goodall - FSDB Director of Student Life
Mel Botterbusch-Goodall, a native of Florida from Jacksonville, is the Director of Student Life at Florida School for the Deaf Department at Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. She is a graduate of FSDB. She never thought she would be returning to her Alma mater to work there. She received her Masters degree in Deaf Education and initially taught at FSDB as a preschool teacher. Eventually, Mel was hired as the Assistant Director of Student Life. She worked her way up to the Director of Student Life. Mel is currently celebrating her 30th year there.
During Mel's free time, Mel spends it with her family. She loves to travel, go camping, and chill out with a good book.
